There’s always one unexpected piece of music that comes along at a peak moment of bliss and ends up defining my Coachella experience.

This year, it was Roll Away Your Stone by Mumford and Sons. It’s not one of their hits, and it started out plainly enough, but over the course of a few minutes, they built up one of the most beautiful crescendos of energy and passion that I’ve ever heard in a live performance.

I was dancing and crying at the same time. It was transcendent.
